Season Wraps up with the Canadian 44rces

Led by coach Grandmaster Young Su Choung, members of the Canadian Forces competed at the World Military Taekwondo Championships in St Jean-Sur-Richelieu, Quebec. The team included four of YCHQ's own: Robb Armour (Bantam), Siddartha Bhat (Feather), Bernard Lorde (Light) and Travis Fernando (Welter). While Bhat brought home the only male bronze, Armour and Lorde lost in their respective bronze medal matches finishing fourth as Fernando gained some valuable international experience. The Championships marked the end of a very busy 2010 competition season, and now the players have the chance to rest, reflect and recharge for next season. Congratulations on a great year!
